After pursuing MBBS degree opting MD MS in India is a popular course or career option for medical students. This course will provide you with enough knowledge and skills in which you want to excel as a doctor.
MD MS in India is for three years. The students have to give their entire three years of hard work and dedication to do clinical training in a recommended medical base and get trained by expert mentors. The entire program is research and problem based to train the students by conducting research activities, engineering design and analysis. Pursuing medicine MD MS in India post graduate degree is a most respectable profession that will provide various opportunities to leverage your medical career. MD MS admission in India is provided through NEET PG entrance examination and it’s a single common PG Entrance examination in India conducted by NBE to provide PG admission in the field of medicine.
Eligibility Criteria for MDMS Admission in India
- The students must have MBBS degree with minimum 50% marks from institutions recognized by Medical Council of India.
- Moreover its mandatory for the aspiring students to complete one year of an internship on or prior 31st March and also accepted.
- Students must hold a provisional or permanent certificate of recognition issued by the MCI or State Medical Council.
Admissions are done on the basis of All India Rank according to the National Eligibility Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG 2021) conducted by NBE (National Board of Examination.
NEET PG 2021 Counseling
On the basis of NEET PG 2021 result, the eligible candidates can participate in the counseling process. Directorate General of Health Science (DGHS) and Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will facilitate the process for 50% All India Quota seats. For the remaining 50% seats, counseling will be done by State Authorities. Final admission will be based on NEET PG score, choice-filled and Number of seats available.
The candidates must keep ready all the relevant documents, as the competent Authority will verify all the original documents during the counseling process. If Anyone failed to produce relevant documents then his/her candidature shall liable to be cancelled. Admission will be allotted to the students purely on the basis of merit.
